Guiding Teenagers Through the Seven Transitions into Adulthood

The Glenbard Parent Series will host two presentations with Lisa Damour on May 1

The Glenbard Parent Series: (GPS) Navigating Healthy Families will host two presentations of Guiding Teen-agers Through the Seven Transitions into Adulthood with Lisa Damour on Tuesday, May 1.

The first presentation will begin at noon May 1 at the Marquardt School District 15 Administration Center, 1860 Glen Ellyn Road in Glendale Heights. The second presentation is at 7 p.m. at Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.

Damour, a psychologist and best-selling author, shows why teens’ erratic and confusing behavior is actually healthy, necessary and natural. Damour draws on decades of experience and the latest research to reveal the seven developmental stages that turn adolescents into thriving adults. Damour will offer parents tips to deal with anxiety, substance use, moods, media, and more.
