Halloween in Glen Ellyn 2021: Trick-Or-Treat Hours, Fest, Parade

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Halloween is right around the corner, which means Glen Ellyn's little ghosts and goblins are getting excited about the spooky fun the village has to offer. Below, we've listed more information about the Halloween Festival and Parade in downtown Glen Ellyn Oct. 30, along with the village's suggested trick-or-treat times for Oct. 31.

Glen Ellyn Halloween Parade

Glen Ellyn residents are welcome to dress up and take part in the village's 2021 Halloween parade, set for Oct. 30. Staging will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the parking lot located at the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Crescent Boulevard.

The parade will step off at 9:45 a.m. with the Glenbard West drum line leading the way. Marchers will head east down Crescent to Forest Avenue, where they'll turn left. From Forest, the parade will make its way west on Pennsylvania Avenue and then end on Main Street.

After the Glen Ellyn Halloween Parade, the frightful festivities will continue in the downtown area Oct. 30. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., kids can trick-or-treat at local businesses and check out the festively decorated storefronts.

Make a pit stop on Main Street to take part in Halloween-themed activities and crafts that include exploring a "haunted" school bus and painting a Halloween mural.

At 11 a.m., Two Bostons will host a pet costume contest.
