Halloween Parade And Spooktacular Set For Oct. 28 In Glen Ellyn
The 2023 Halloween Festival and Parade will be held Oct. 28, bringing trick-or-treating, crafts and more to downtown Glen Ellyn.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Grinning ghosts and goblins will gather in downtown Glen Ellyn Oct. 28 for the village's 2023 Halloween Parade and Spooktacular.

Residents are welcome to don their most frightening or frighteningly adorable Halloween costume and join in on the Halloween Parade as it makes its way throughout downtown Glen Ellyn. If you want to participate, head to the staging area at the 453 Duane St. Prairie Path by 9:30 a.m. the morning of the parade.
At 9:45 a.m., the parade will step off from the intersection of Duane Street and Forest Avenue and head west along Duane, led by the Glenbard West Drumline.

The parade will come to a close at the intersection of Duane and Lorraine.
Halloween Spooktacular
After the Halloween Parade, kids are welcome to trick-or-treat at businesses throughout downtown Glen Ellyn. The shops and restaurants will be decked out with spooky decor and windows that have been painted in a Halloween theme by local scout troops.
There will be a haunted school bus set up near Duane and Lorraine. Kids can also take part in seasonal games and make Halloween-inspired crafts.
The Halloween Spooktacular will be held from 10 am. to 1 p.m.
