Harvest Native Seeds at Churchill Park
Join the Glen Ellyn Park District on Saturday, September 26th for National Public Lands Day.

Join the Glen Ellyn Park District on Saturday, September 26th for National Public Lands Day and have fun while harvesting native plant seeds. The event will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. at Churchill Park, 271 St. Charles Road, Glen Ellyn.
Volunteers will help collect ripe native seeds from the woodlands, prairie and wetlands of the park. The collected seeds will be used to help re-vegetate several areas within Glen Ellyn park natural areas that have been recently cleared of invasive species. An adult must accompany children under the age of ten.
National Public Lands Day is a great way to give back to your community while also helping to protect and promote our public lands and connect with other community-members.
