Holiday Game Show, Live Music At Glen Ellyn Library Holiday Walk

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Kids and families can stir up their festive energy at the Glen Ellyn Pubic Library Holiday Walk before the village's annual tree lighting. The library's seasonal event will take place from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24 and will feature a live music, arts and crafts, and a special holiday game show.

A team of holiday entertainers —and maybe even some of Santa's elves— will be on hand from Sparkles Entertainment. They'll keep the energy and fun going throughout the event and will host a special holiday game show that includes audience participation, interaction, and prizes.

Live seasonal music will also set the festive mood. Vivaldi Strings will perform some breathtaking classical tunes and the Glenbard South Madrigal Singers will show off their skills. There will also be a performance from One Voice Outreach Choir, which brings together performers of different faiths to help bring joy and healing to senior citizens through music.

At the event, you can buy original ornaments made on the library's 3-D printer to commemorate the library's 110th anniversary Proceed will go to benefit Glen Ellyn Public Library Foundation.
