Home Heavily Damaged, Three Cars Destroyed in Fire Near Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL -- Three cars were destroyed and a home heavily damaged in a large house fire that broke out near Glen Ellyn Saturday afternoon, the Daily Herald reports.

Firefighters were called to the home in the 1S200 block of Mayfield Lane near Glen Ellyn, which is near Westfield Elementary School, at 2:36 p.m. where they found a heavy fire coming from the garage and second floor, according to the newspaper. No one was injured in the blaze.
