Jack-O'-Lanterns Sought For Pumpkins On Main In Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Dozens of festively carved and decorated jack-o'-lanterns will be on display in at the Main Street Recreation Center for Glen Ellyn's 2022 Pumpkins on Main event, which runs Oct. 28 through Oct. 31.

Residents have until Oct. 26 to register their pumpkins for this free competition. Each family member who plans to display a pumpkin must register.

The winners will get a $25 gift card for the Glen Ellyn Park District, a $25 gift card to use at a shop in downtown Glen Ellyn and a Halloween goodie bag.

Once participants have registered, they can drop off their jack-o'-lanterns at Main Street Recreation Center, 501 Hill Ave., on Oct. 28 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. After Pumpkins on Main closes, residents can pick up their pumpkins at Main Street Recreation Center after 10 a.m. on Nov 1.
