Joe Brenner New Director of IT Customer Experience and Support at COD
Brenner will lead the IT support-facing areas including the client solutions team, help desk, lab software team and device support.

With more than 20 years of IT experience at College of DuPage, Joe Brenner is looking forward to his new role as Director of Customer Experience and Support.
In this newly created position, Brenner will lead the IT support-facing areas of the College, including the client solutions team, help desk, lab software team and device support team.
“Our goal is to adopt a customer first strategy, to enhance the customer experience and better support our students, faculty and staff. Our customer first strategy is not just about technology but also about fostering a culture of service and support excellence,” he said.

The Batavia resident has worked at COD for 22 years in all four areas that he will now oversee. Vice President of Planning, Performance and Technology Keith Tyrka said this experience makes Brenner the best person for the position.
“Joe has always focused on customer engagement and support in his work at COD,” he said. “He’s perfect for the role to lead partnership strategy with the creation of the Customer Experience and Support team.”

Brenner said one of his first initiatives is to create a new internal ticketing system that will provide modern support and engagement opportunities to the entire College community.
“We want IT to be seen as a partner across campus for all related issues and projects,” he said.
