Kokomo-Themed Party To Send Off Summer At Lake Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — As summer comes to a close, the Lake Ellyn Boathouse is hosting a bash that aims to invoke tropical vibes and sunshine. Kokomo: A Vacation Darty (day party) is slated for Sept. 23 and will help raise funds to aid the Glen Ellyn Park District's Scholarship Fund.

The event will feature:

• Food trucks
• An open bar
• Fire dancing
• DJ music
• Photo booth
• Games
• Raffles

Guests will have the chance to win prizes that include vacation packages that can help cure the winter blues.

General admission tickets are $125 per person and include food, snacks, an open bar and entertainment. Visitors can get a "first class ticket" for $150 to get the same perks as general admission, along with 2 p.m. entry, a free raffle ticket and a complimentary personalized koozie.

Those who can't make it in person, but want to join in the revelry, can snag a virtual ticket for $20.
