Late Utility Bill Payment Notices And Shut-Offs To Resume

The Village of Glen Ellyn will resume late payment notices, fees, penalties and shut-offs in August.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting financial challenges, the Village of Glen Ellyn suspended late payment fees and shut-offs for water customers. As the State of Illinois has moved into Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan, the Village will resume late payment notices, fees/penalties and shut-offs effective August 2020.

If you have a delinquent account status, it is imperative that you contact the Village’s Billing Department at (630) 469-5000 if full payment cannot be made by the due date. For those customers struggling to pay their bills, please contact Village offices to discuss options available to you. The Village must be contacted by the due date.
