Lawn Watering Restrictions Start May 15

Not all Glen Ellyn homeowners can water their lawns on the same day. 

Homeowners with odd-numbered addresses are supposed to water on odd calendar days, while even-numbered addresses can water their property on even calendar days. The village follows the Illinois Department of Natural Resources conservation mandate from May 15 to Sept. 15 of every year.

When homeowners are allowed to water their lawns they may do so from either 5-8 a.m. or 7-11 p.m.
