Let Glen Ellyn Know Your Thoughts On Event Park Project
Glen Ellyn is set to start work on its Event Park, but not until residents share their feedback on the initiative.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Residents in Glen Ellyn are encouraged to weigh in on one of the village's most significant initiatives in recent years: its Event Park project. The village is working with the park district to create the community event space in the site of the U.S. Bank at 453 Forest Ave.
Those who want to learn more about the project or provide feedback can click the link to complete the community survey. Residents can also attend upcoming events that will review plans for the Event Park. The events are:
- National Night Out: Aug. 1 at 5 p.m. at Newton Park, 707 Fairview Ave.
- Virtual Town Hall: Sept. 28 at 6 p.m.
The Event Park will be located just off Prairie Path and will be used to extend Prairie Path Park "into a dynamic open space," a news release said. According to initial plans, the community space will feature a stage, improved lighting and more seating areas.
