Lombard Man Accused of Burglarizing Home, Stealing Credit Card

Sabastiano Ceraulo is charged with residential burglary, use of a credit/debit card and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 20-year-old Lombard man has been arrested for burglarizing a DuPage County home Sunday night and stealing a credit card.

Sabastiano Ceraulo, of 21w500 block of North Avenue in Lomboard, is charged with one count of residential burglary, one count of use of a credit/debit card and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is accused of burglarizing a home in unincorporated Lombard and taking a credit card from the home that he then used at a nearby business, according to a DuPage County Sheriff’s Office press release. While checking the area, deputies located an individual who matched the description of the suspect.

Ceraulo was arrested after he was found to be in possession of the victim’s credit cards and items he had purchased with the credit cards, according to the news release.

Ceraulo is being held in the DuPage County Jail and his bond has been set at $100,000.
