Man, Dog Trapped After Cab Driver Crashes Into Home
Police are now searching for the cab driver who they said fled the scene early Monday morning.

Police are searching for a cab driver who they said crashed into a Glendale Heights home, trapping a 53-year-old man who had been sleeping in his bedroom, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The cab driver fled the scene following the crash, which occurred in the 1600 block of Gregory Avenue in Glendale Heights at about 1:10 a.m., according to MyFoxChicago.com.

Cheryl Grisch, who told reporters she lived at the home, said her dad and dog became trapped under a wall following the crash. The man who was injured is being treated at an area hospital for minor injuries.
“If my dad was sleeping a little further on the other side of the bed he probably would have been right underneath the car,” Ryan Grisch told WGN News.
