Memorial Day Ceremony To Feature Speeches, Live Music In Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — The 2023 Glen Ellyn Memorial Day Ceremony is slated for May 29 and is set to feature live music and speeches from residents and local officials.

Presented by the Daughters of the American Revolution and Glen Ellyn American Legion Post 3, the event will be held at the Veterans Memorial at Lake Ellyn, 645 Lenox Rd.

Remarks will be given by:

• Sheri Gross, Veteran Service Director at College of DuPage
• Glen Ellyn resident Bob Morton, “Memories of a Hero"
• Kathy Szymanowski of the Daughters of the American Revolution

Patriotic music will be performed by the Glenbard South marching band and the Glenbard West choir.
