Missing Elderly Man and His 2 Great-Grandchildren Return Home Safe

The 78-year-old man has the onset of dementia, police said.

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL - A 78-year-old Glendale Heights man and his two great-grandchildren have returned home safe after being reported missing earlier this week.

Jerry Harrison, 78, and his two great-grandchildren, a 7-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl, were reported missing Tuesday afternoon. Harrison, who has the onset of dementia, was last seen at 9:30 p.m. on Monday at the Roselle train station, according to a press release from the Glendale Heights Police Department.

Police reported Wednesday that Harrison and the children had returned home safe. No one was injured during the incident.
