Junior A. Espinal, 32, faces multiple charges, including driving without a valid license and leaving the scene of an accident.

A Lombard man fled on foot after he drove his car through a convenience store on Sunday morning, DuPage County Sheriff John Zaruba said.
Junior A. Espinal, 32, of the 800 block of Foxworth Boulevard in Lombard, is facing multiple charges, including driving without a valid license, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to give information to the owner of the property.
DuPage County Sheriff’s Police received calls around 9 a.m. Sunday for a car that had crashed through the front glass window of the 7-Eleven store at Butterfield Road and Lloyd in unincorporated Lombard.

When deputies arrived, they found a 2004 Acura in the middle of the store with the engine still running. The store associate reported that after the driver, later identified as Espinal, drove through the front of the store, he left the engine running and fled the store on foot.
Sheriff’s deputies search the area and found a man fitting the driver’s description provided by the 7-Eleven employee. Espinal allegedly told deputies that he was pulling in to purchase a gallon of milk when the brake pedal got stuck on his car as he was pulling up to the front of the store.
