GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Fireworks from the Fishing Pier Raffle raised more than $4,700 this year. Not only did the raffle give a lucky family the chance to watch fireworks from the pier at Lake Ellyn Boathouse, it also broke a record for the Glen Ellyn Park District.

In total, $4,737 was raised during the raffle, which offered tickets for $5 apiece, $10 for three tickets and $20 for seven tickets.

The Cagadas Family won the drawing, which means they will be able to bring a group of 12 to watch the fireworks display at dusk on July 4.
