Pair Stole 37 Cellphones From FedEx In Carol Stream: Police
A Lombard woman and a Hanover Park man were charged with felony theft in connection with the crime.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — A man and a woman were arrested after they allegedly stole 37 cellphones from a FedEx shipping facility in Carol Stream. Mohamed Mohamoud, 34, of Hanover Park, and Stephanie Horist, 25, of Lombard have each been charged with one felony count of theft, according to the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.
Police say that the pair allegedly stole packages from the FedEx delivery location at 2015 Della Ct. in Carol Stream. The packages contained a total of 37 cellphones, according to police.
Mohamoud and Horist were both released Wednesday morning on recognizance bond, police say. They are set to appear in court again on May 14.
