Panfish Park Improvements: Village, Park District Propose Redesigns
Proposed improvements to Panfish Park include playground upgrades, tree and brush removal, pathway repairs and other work.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Panfish Park will soon be undergoing some transformations. Glen Ellyn's village and park district have teamed up to work on developing concepts for a redesign to the park that will include playground upgrades, tree and invasive plant removal and pathway improvements.
The collaboration comes after both entities entered a partnership involving the redevelopment of the former U.S. Bank site on Forest Avenue into an event space and park. The partnership will include work on Manor Woods as well.

- Installation of ADA-accessible playground equipment
- New signage, including information about legacy trees
- New furniture
Glen Ellyn residents will be able to offer feedback on the Panfish Park redevelopment starting in early 2023. Construction is slated to start toward the end of 2023 or in 2024.
