Petition Packets Available Sept. 23 for Glen Ellyn Park District Board Election
Interested in running for a Board position? Pick up election information packets at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center.

GLEN ELLYN, IL – Three positions (four year term) on the Glen Ellyn Park District Board of Commissioners will be up for election on April 7, 2015. Anyone interested in running for a Board position can pick up election information packets, including petitions and other forms at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center, 185 Spring Avenue, Glen Ellyn. The packets are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm beginning September 23, 2014. Those who wish to run for Park Board Commissioner must be a Glen Ellyn Park District resident for at least one year prior to the election.
Potential candidates can begin circulating petitions on Tuesday, September 23, 2014. The official filing dates are Monday, December 15 through Monday, December 22, 2014. Petitions will be accepted Monday, December 15 – Friday, December 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Monday, December 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
