Glen Ellyn Man Wanted In Suspicious Death Of Young Wife Is In Custody: UPDATE

Michael Marlovitz was arrested after his wife was found dead in a Batavia home on Friday morning.

The 23-year-old husband of a 21-year-old woman found dead in Batavia Friday morning is in custody. Michael J. Marlovitz of Glen Ellyn was arrested without incident on unrelated charges by the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office, authorities said Monday afternoon.

Authorities had been searching for Marlovitz since his wife, Caitlyn P. Neiswanger, was found dead inside a home in the 1100 block of Rye Court in Batavia just before 7 a.m. on Friday, police said.

Marlovitz left the home before emergency personnel could arrive, taking Neiswanger’s vehicle and several other items, according to a news release. Authorities have said Marlovitz was a person of interest in the death and learned a dispute may have taken place between Neiswanger and Marlovitz, police said Friday.
