Here is a look at recent arrest and incident reports made to the Glen Ellyn Police Department:
- Russell D. Berry, 59, of 412 Sandhurst Circle in Glen Ellyn, was arrested for public intoxication at Lake Ellyn Park at 6:54 p.m. on July 4.
- John R. Berard, 27, of 6783 Pavilion Road in Yorkville, was arrested at 7:21 p.m. on July 4 for soliciting rides/business in a roadway.
- Russel Wiechman, 50, of 1188 Royal Glen Drive in Glen Ellyn, was arrested in the 1200 block of Roosevelt at 6:55 p.m. on July 6 for public intoxication.
- Police arrested Erik J. Hill, 20, of 418 S. Summitt Road in Villa Park, at 10:14 p.m.on July 6 at Bryan and Hill for speeding and possession of marijuana 30 grams and under. Justin S. Campagnolo, 21, of 51 W. Monroe in Villa Park, was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Jon M. Kieta, 56, of 2N523 Bernice in Glen Ellyn, was arrested in the 0 to 100 block of South Park Boulevard at 6:55 p.m. on July 10 for public indecency.
- Police received a report of an unknown person or persons removing an unattended Mac Sports Bazaar captain chair left unattended on the street prior to the Independence Day Parade. The chair was believed to be stolen from the 460 to 500 block of North Main Street at some point between 6 p.m. on July 3 and 11 p.m. on July 4.
- Police received a report of an unknown person using a $100 bill to pay for goods at an Ace Hardware, 485 Roosevelt, at about 7:28 p.m. on July 7. The offender is described as a white female with brown hair who was wearing a green tank top and blue jeans.
