Public Intoxication, Public Indecency, DUI Arrests in Glen Ellyn: Blotter

GLEN ELLYN, IL - The Glen Ellyn Police Department made the following arrests in recent weeks:

Public Intoxication

Police arrested four at Prairie Path Park at 8 p.m. on July 12 for public intoxication. They took into custody William J. Buell, 34; Misti D. Doggett, 43; Daniel A. Wrzesniak, 38; and Ben M. Wright, 31. Buell, Doggett and Wrzesniak all live at PADS, 703 W. Liberty Drive in Wheaton. Wright lives at 23W710 Maple Avenue in Roselle.

Public Indecency

Police arrested Thomas W. Snyder, 21, of 1300 Crabapple Court in Glen Ellyn, for public indecency at 12:47 a.m. on July 17.

DUI/Drugs

Authorities took into custody Trinese L. Carter, 45, of Chicago, at 2:16 a.m. on July 17 at Geneva and Highland. She is charged with DUI/Drugs.

Possession of a Controlled Substance

Damuriel Antoinette Collier, 42, of Chicago, was arrested at 2:16 a.m. on July 17 at Geneva and Main. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

DUI

Andrew S. Gylling, 23, of 852 High Gate Course in Glen Ellyn, was arrested at Pennsylvania and Western at 12:37 a.m. on July 17 for DUI/alcohol, disregarding a stop sign and failure to yield at an intersection.

Criminal Trespassing

Police arrested Kevin A. Cracco, 53, of Chicago, at 1:51 a.m. on July 15 at 677 Roosevelt Road. He is charged with criminal trespassing to land and violating bail bond/family member.

Retail Theft

Rusty L. Phillips, 56, of 677 Roosevelt Road, Room 444, was arrested at 11 a.m. on July 14 for retail theft/displaying merchandise under $300. They also took into custody Billy J. Phillips, 54, also of 677 Roosevelt Road, Room 444, for retail theft /displaying merchandise under $300.

Incident Reports

  • Police received a report of an unknown person using a counterfeit $20 bill to pay for goods at Circle K, 631 Roosevelt, at 10 p.m. on July 12. The offender is described as a black male in his twenties.
  • A Dell laptop, Samsung cell phone and chargers were taken from a vehicle in the 100 block of Surrey at sometime between 4 p.m. on July 13 and 8:20 a.m. on July 14.
  • Police received a report of a person taking a women’s purse after the woman accidentally left it outside a business in the 600 block of Roosevelt Road at 8:15 a.m. on July 14. The wallet contained $583 cash and miscellaneous identification
