Race For Village President Heats Up In Glen Ellyn
Two candidates have thrown their hats into the ring for village president in the 2021 election.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn Village President Diane McGinley recently announced she will step down, so she will not be seeking another term in the upcoming 2021 election, but a trustee and former trustee will be vying for the seat of village president.
Trustee Mark Senak and Pete Ladesic, a former trustee, have filed to run for village president, according to Daily Herald. Senak received an endorsement from Glen Ellyn's Civic Betterment Party.
Four candidates are aiming to fill the trustee seats in Glen Ellyn. Incumbents Gary Fasules, Kelley Kalinich and Anne Gould are joined by Jeremy Boynton in seeking trustee seats.
