Red Handed: Glen Ellyn Man Accused of Stealing Hot Sauce
Man caught red-handed in retail theft at local Wheaton store, cops say.
A Glen Ellyn man was charged with retail theft after he was caught stealing hot sauce and kitchen cutlery from a Wheaton home goods store, reports said.
Wheaton police were called to the Home Goods store at 38 Danada Square in Wheaton for a report of a retail theft around 6:38 p.m. Jan. 27.
A man later identified as Ivan Sabolic, 32, was observed a store security guard taking a bottles of Spice Exchange Chipotle Mexican Style and Jalapeno hot sauce.

He then moved on to the kitchen department where he pinched a kitchen knife and a 25-count butcher knife set, reports said.
Sabolic, who resides in the 0-10 block of Forest Hill Drive in Glen Ellyn, was given a citation for retail theft.

Police told Sabolic he was not allowed to go back to the store.
