Restaurant Week Set To Kick Off In Glen Ellyn: What To Know

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Restaurants are set to offer prix fixe menus and special discounts when Glen Ellyn Restaurant Week kicks off Friday. The event spans 10 days and aims to let diners "explore, taste something new, and save a little bit of money," Village Manager Mark Franz said in a statement.

• Two Hound Red

“Glen Ellyn is home to such diverse, locally owned dining that Glen Ellyn Restaurant Week is a great time to head to your favorite spots, and then come back and try something new,” Dawn Smith, Executive Director of the Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn, said.

Smith added, “We expect participation this year to increase as local business owners are eager to share culinary and libation highlights.”

Also part of Glen Ellyn Restaurant Week is the 2024 Charity Chili Cookoff, a Leap Day Wine Tasting at Cabernet & Company Wine Shop on Feb. 29, Dark Lager Day at Beer Cellar on March 1 and a wine tasting at ko-ze wine room on March 3.
