Reverse Advent Calendar Free Craft for Kids at Grace Lutheran Church Chili Supper

As a special feature of the Grace Lutheran Church Chili Supper, the
Christian Education Department has created a free craft for folks
attending the supper. It is named, Reverse Advent Calendar and comes
with a shopping bag, advent flip book, and an advent devotional.
While at the Chili Supper materials are available to decorate each
bag and when it is taken home, the flip book will offer 24 days worth
of suggested food, clothing or toiletry item to be put inside the
shopping bag. Once each family has filled their bag, they can return
them to Grace for the 4:00 PM Children's Service on Christmas Eve.
The shopping bags will receive a blessing during the service. All
items collected are donated to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry as will as
PADS. Everyone is invited to join in the craft project at the Grace
Chili Supper and there are only 75 shopping bag craft kits available.
First come, first served. The church is located at 493 Forest
Avenue and the supper begins at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Call
