Roskam, Casten To Face Off In Sold-Out Chicago Debate

GLEN ELLYN, IL — As the 2018 election approaches, candidates in what's been described as one of the most important races in the election are getting ready to face off. Rep. Peter Roskam (IL-6) will debate his challenger, Sean Casten at the Lincoln Forum in Chicago on July 26.

Casten, who emerged victorious in the crowded Democratic primary election in March, has invited Roskam to public town halls recent history, but Roskam has consistently declined. This has increased the ire of many constituents, who have appealed to the incumbent representative for an in-person town hall for more than a year.

This makes Thursday's upcoming debate between Casten and Roskam especially worthy of watching.
