Route 38 BBQ Now Open On Roosevelt Road In Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn's newest barbecue joint, Route 38 BBQ, will host its grand opening Friday.
Curated by Chef Eric Feltman, the menu at Route 38 BBQ centers on slow-smoked meats that run the gamut from pulled pork and chicken to pork loin back ribs and andouille sausage. Each meat comes accompanied with sliced bread and your choice of house-made sauces. Choose from the eatery's signature watermelon-infused barbecue sauce or a sweet and smoky sauce, or opt for something spicy like the cinnamon heat or habanero bourbon sauces.
Diners can pair their entrees with smokehouse macaroni and cheese, fire-roasted corn, fried apples, cornbread and other comfort foods. For dessert, Route 38 BBQ offers a smoked apple blossom tart and a s'mores cake enhanced with a spicy chocolate sauce.
