Running Car Stolen In Glen Ellyn

Police say the car had been left unattended for about 15 minutes when it was stolen.

GLEN ELLYN, IL -- Police in Glen Ellyn are investigating an incident in which a running car was stolen. The car was stolen on Jan. 30 in the first block of Surrey Drive, according to a police bulletin.

The victim told police that they had left their 2002 Dodge Caravan running and unattended around 6 p.m. When they returned at approximately 6:15 p.m., they noticed the car, which had the keys in the ignition, had been stolen.

Police say the car was later recovered.
