Naperville Tops List Of Best U.S. Cities To Raise Family: Study

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville has been named the best place to raise a family in the U.S., according to a new study by Niche.

Niche's Best Places to Raise a Family were ranked based on "key factors that are meaningful for families," according to Niche's methodology. Some factors that went into the list include information about public schools, cost of living, crime and safety and more.

Niche used data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Department of Education, in addition to local reviews to round out the list.

Per Niche, Naperville scored as follows:

• Public schools: A+
• Housing: A-
• Good for families: A+
• Crime and safety: B-
• Nightlife: B+
• Diversity: A-

Naperville also topped Niche's list of Cities with Best Public Schools in the U.S.
