Scarecrow Rows Returns In Glen Ellyn; How To Participate
Scarecrow Row will take over downtown Glen Ellyn starting Oct. 16. Signup to build a scarecrow is now open.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Dozens of scarecrows will line the streets of downtown Glen Ellyn when Scarecrow Rows opens Oct 15. Businesses, scouts and nonprofit groups are encouraged to grab a scarecrow-making kit and craft their own creation as fall begins and Halloween fun kicks off in the village.
Signup to build a scarecrow opened Sept. 14. Scout groups and nonprofits can make a scarecrow free of charge. Businesses can pay $60 to make or sponsor a scarecrow that will feature their logo, which will also be displayed on Scarecrow Rows signage, maps, social media and website.

Scarecrow supplies will be available for pickup at the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce, 810 N. Main St., Sept. 27 through Oct. 8. Scarecrows can be put up anytime between Oct. 9 and Oct. 15.
The scarecrows will be on display from Oct. 16 through Oct. 31 as Glen Ellyn celebrates Halloween. Festivities will include Halloween-themed art on storefront windows, along with a Halloween parade that is slated for Oct. 30.
