GLEN ELLYN, IL — Bring your popcorn and your lawn chairs. It's time for the 2023 installment of Glen Ellyn Park District's Movies in the Park. The beloved annual event begins May 31 and will feature monthly free movie nights in parks throughout the village.

Here's a look at the 2023 schedule for Movies in the Park:

• May 31: Puss in Boots: The Last Wish at Lake Ellyn Park
• June 14: Minions: Rise of Gru at Lake Foxcroft Park
• July 12: Strange World at Maryknoll Park
• Aug. 2: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 at Spalding Park

Each movie will begin at dusk and visitors are encouraged to bring their own towels or chairs to sit on, along with refreshments to enjoy during the flicks.
