September 11 Remembrance Planned In Glen Ellyn

The ceremony will be held at sunset to commemorate the 18th anniversary of the Sept. 11 tragedy.

GLEN ELLYN, IL —Glen Ellyn residents can pay their respect to those lost on Sept. 11, 2001 in a special sunset ceremony. The event, which marks the 18th anniversary of the tragedy, will be held at Fire Station 61.

Observers will gather in the fire station's east parking lot, which is located at the corner of Pennsylvania and Main. Village officials said the ceremony will begin at sunset (7:07 p.m.) and last about 20 minutes.
