Sheriff’s Office Looking for Man Accused of Groping Woman on Prairie Path
The man allegedly approached a woman who was walking on the path last week and groped her.

GLEN ELLYN, IL - DuPage County Sheriff John E. Zaruba is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused of groping a woman who was walking on the Illinois Prairie Path last week.
At around 7 p.m. on July 28, a female victim who was walking on the Prairie Path near Hill Avenue in Glen Ellyn was approached by a man on a bicycle who then started to forcibly grope the victim, according to a news release.
The victim described the suspect as a Hispanic male between 25 to 35 years old who is 5-feet 10 inches to 6-feet tall. He has dark hair with a buzz cut and a slight goatee. The suspect was wearing a t-shirt and shorts of an unknown color and riding a bicycle of an unknown model or color, according to police.

The sheriff would like to remind residents to be aware of their surrounding and if you suspect someone is acting suspicious to call 911. Sheriff’s deputies will be conducting extra patrols on the Prairie Path.
