Shooting At Hotel In Glen Ellyn Under Investigation: Police

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn Police are searching for multiple suspects in the shooting of a 24-year old man Wednesday night. The incident took place at Budgetel Inn at 675 Roosevelt Rd. at approximately 9:30 p.m.

According to police, the 24-year old victim was shot in the leg and then fled on foot to a nearby Dunkin Donuts at 651 Roosevelt Rd. When police arrived on the scene, the suspects had already fled. The man was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police determined that the shooting likely took place on the hotel's western side. Law enforcement found evidence in this area during their initial investigation. The suspects are still at large and the investigation is ongoing.
