Shooting Near Glen Ellyn: Alleged Victim, Suspects Uncooperative
Police say the shooting took place in the 1N400 block of Park Avenue.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — The DuPage County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that took place in the 1N400 block of Park Avenue near Glen Ellyn. The shooting was reported around 10 a.m., according to a Facebook post from the sheriff's office.
Police say a man sustained a gunshot wound to his arm. Justin Kmitch, spokesperson for the DuPage County Sheriff's Office, told Patch both the alleged driver and the alleged shooter were taken into custody.
According to Kmitch, neither the alleged victim, nor the suspects are cooperating with police, so no charges have been filed in connection with the shooting.

Kmitch told Patch that during the investigation, Eduardo Hernandez, 19, of the 800 block of Longmeadow Drive, Carol Stream, was charged with criminal damage to government supported property. He was held on $10,000 bond and was released after a family member paid the necessary $1,000.
