Shots Fired Into Car In Unincorporated Glen Ellyn
Police say the victims are not cooperating with their requests for information.

GLEN ELLYN, IL --- Police are working to investigate a shooting in unincorporated Glen Ellyn, but they say the victims will not cooperate with additional requests for information. The shooting took place Tuesday around 10:30 p.m. near Rte. 53 and Butterfield Rd., according to police.
Shell casings were found at the scene after gunshots were reported, leading investigators to determine that shots were fired as both vehicles were heading northbound on Rte. 53 from Wal-Mart.
Police later learned that the victims had driven themselves to Elmhurst Hospital and did not report the incident to law enforcement. According to police, the victims are currently refusing to cooperate with investigators.

The only information police currently have is that the suspect vehicle was described as a dark Ford sedan with tinted windows.
