South Elgin Woman Sentenced for Driving School Bus While Intoxicated
The woman was pulled over in West Chicago on Sept. 13, 2013, according to media reports.

A 43-year-old South Elgin woman was sentenced to 20 days in jail for aggravated driving under the influence after West Chicago police arrested her for driving a school bus full of elementary children while intoxicated last fall, according to the Daily Herald.
Jill Beebe, a former school bus driver, registered a .086 blood-alcohol level when she was stopped by police at 6 a.m. on Sept. 13, 2013, according to the article. A teacher’s aide smelled alcohol on Beebe’s breath during her initial stop to pick up children at a West Chicago elementary school, the Daily Herald reports.
