Student Ensembles Perform March 15 at the MAC

The evening of music will feature a colorful assortment of genres and ensembles with a wide variety of musical curation.

The College of DuPage Music program presents a concert featuring several student music ensembles at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, in Belushi Performance Hall at the McAninch Arts Center on COD’s Glen Ellyn Campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

The evening of music will feature a colorful assortment of genres and ensembles with a wide variety of musical curation. COD Chamber Orchestra Director Mark Liu promises an evening of “orchestra music from Baroque to modern.”

“Audiences will enjoy Bach’s Brandenburg Concert No. 3, the Irish romantic melody ‘Danny Boy,’ a rhythmically driven piece written by Hermann Schroeder, a 20th century composer, and more,” he said.

“Audiences will be treated to an eclectic evening of music featuring a variety of ensembles,” said Shevitz. “There is truly something for everyone in this program!”
