Bandit Dons Surgical Mask, Robs 2 Banks in DuPage County

The FBI is now looking for the bank robber accused of robbing banks in Glendale Heights and Carol Stream.

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL - The FBI is looking to track down a man who donned a surgical mask and robbed two different banks in DuPage County over the past month.

The man is accused of robbing the Bank of America, 506 S. Schmale in Carol Stream, at about 11:23 a.m. on Tuesday and also robbing the TCF Bank, 2164 N. Bloomingdale in Glendale Heights, just before 5 p.m. on July 29, according to bandittrackerchicago.com.

The suspect is described as a white male between five-feet seven-inches and five-feet nine-inches tall. He was wearing a black hat, red button down shirt and surgical mask during the Tuesday bank robbery in Carol Stream.

During the Glendale Heights robbery, he again wore a medical mask as well as a black cowboy hat, black suit and light-colored shirt.

He did not display a weapon in either robberies.
