Taste Of Glen Ellyn And Carnival Come To New Spot In August

GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Taste of Glen Ellyn and Carnival may be coming slightly later in 2023, but with a new location and plenty of entertainment and eats lined up, it should be worth the wait. The family-friendly five-day festival will run Aug. 16 through Aug. 20 at College of DuPage.

The new location comes amid ongoing streetscape improvements in downtown Glen Ellyn.

Festival Hours and Info

The carnival will be open Aug. 16 through Aug. 20, with the Taste and live music open Aug. 17 through Aug. 19. Entry to the festival is free, but there will be plenty of food and beverages (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) available for purchase.

Aug. 16: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. (only carnival open)

Aug. 17: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Aug. 18: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Aug. 19: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Aug. 20: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. (only carnival open)

Advance-sale wristbands will be available online until Aug. 15 for $29.03 apiece (after service fees). Wristbands can purchased at the event for $37 each. Attendees should note the wristbands will not be valid Saturday.

Local musicians will be in the spotlight with main stage performances Aug. 17 through Aug. 19. The lineup is as follows.

8 p.m.: Vinyl Goldmine

Aug. 19

12 p.m.: School of Rock

3 p.m.: BlockStar

5:30 p.m.: Sealed with a Kiss

8 p.m.: 7th Heaven
