Thief Cuts Hole In Building, Steals Leaf Blowers, Grass Trimmers

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn Police are trying to track down a thief or thieves who cut a hole into a maintenance building and removed three leaf blowers and three grass trimmers. The theft took place on part of the Village Links of Glen Ellyn at 490 Harding Ave. over Thanksgiving weekend.

According to police, the victim said the theft happened sometime between 12 p.m. on Nov. 22 and 7:40 a.m. on Nov. 28. The suspect(s) reportedly stole two Stihl backpack blowers, one Stihl handheld blower, and three Redmax Reciprocators.
