Thief Holds Kitchen Knife To Man's Throat, Steals Phone, Wallet: Police

A man was robbed at knifepoint on June 13 in the 300 block of Alder, according to police. The offender(s) allegedly stole his phone.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Two men allegedly used a kitchen knife to threaten a man before stealing his phone and wallet according to Glen Ellyn Police. The incident took place on June 15 at approximately 5:45 p.m. in the 300 block of Alder.

The victim told police that he was sitting in his parked car when the offender(s) approached him. One offender placed a "large kitchen knife" at the man's throat and demanded his wallet and cell phone. Police say the phone is described as a Verizon Wireless Motorola Droid Turbo.

According to police, the offenders were described as a white male approximately 30 years of age and a black male, approximately 30 years of age, standing 5'5" tall with a heavy build, dark hair and glasses.
