Here is a look at recent arrests made in Glen Ellyn
- Velencia Janese Renee Hudson, 22, of 1037 N.Karlov Ave. in Chicago, was arrested at 7:09 p.m. on Nov. 8 at Roosevelt and Interstate 355 for possession of cannabis 30 grams and under.
- Wendy J. Collier, 61, of 820 Crescent Boulevard in Wheaton, was arrested at 9:41 a.m. on Nov. 14 for no valid license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
- James E. Kramer, 37 of 677 Roosevelt Road in Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. on Nov. 14 for criminal damage to property.
Police also responded to the following complaints in recent weeks:
- A person called police to report that he dropped off his fare and was not paid for his services. The incident occurred between 7:30 and 8:51 p.m. on Nov. 8.
- An unknown person broke a window in the front of a house in the 800 block of Maryknoll at 11:01 p.m. on Nov. 8.
- A resident at Atria Assisted Living, 95 Carleton, reported a missing diamond ring with a white gold band. The report was made between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Oct. 28.
- A unknown person scratched the left side of a parked vehicle at Fresh Market, 285 Roosevelt Road. The report was made at 5:15 p.m. on Nov. 11.
- A person reported a black Prodeco Phantom electric bicycle was stolen from Prairie Path Park between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Nov. 11.
- Police are looking for a suspect who stole a tip jar from Chipotle, 695 Roosevelt Road, at about 8:15 p.m. on Nov. 12. There was between $20 and $40 in the jar. The offender is described as an Afican American male, between 16 and 20 years old who was wearing khaki-colored pants, a dark-colored jacket, white hat, dark-colored gloves and dark-colored athletic shoes.
- Three wallets and a watch were stolen after someone broken into three lockers in the men’s locker room at Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center, 800 St. Charles Road in Glen Ellyn between 9 and 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 14.
- A Tiffany & Co. necklace with a bean-shaped pendant was taken from a residence in the 700 block of Glenbard between July 21 and Nov. 10. The necklace is sterling silver and valued at $300.
- Someone damaged the windshield of a parked vehicle in the 400 block of Main Street at 4:50 p.m. on Nov. 17.
- Someone broke into an apartment in the 300 block of Spruce between 1:45 and 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 17 and stole an X-Box One game console, NBA2K17 game, three X-Box controllers and a Lenovo laptop.
