Traffic Stop Yields Drug, Traffic Charges; Camp Cosmetics Broken Into: Police Blotter
A look at crime and arrest reports from recent weeks in Glen Ellyn.

A look at recent arrests made by the Glen Ellyn Police Department:
- Marcus J. Satterfield, of Maywood, was arrested in the 500 block of Pleasant at 8:44 a.m. on Nov. 20 for obstructing a peace officer, disorderly conduct, use of an unsafe tire, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and driving the wrong way.
- Vikas Singh, 21, of 271 Grissom Lane in Hoffman Estates, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 23 at St. Charles and Lenox for possession of marijuana 30 grams and under, disobeying traffic signal and driving too fast for conditions.
Other Incidents
Glen Ellyn Police responded to the following incidents in recent weeks.
- A person or persons broke a passenger front window and removed a brown and blue-green tote bag from the Recreation Center at 185 Spring between 8:10 and 9:05 a.m. on Nov. 22. Inside the bag was a bible and various religious education paperwork.
- A person reported leaving a wallet inside a hotel room at the Budgetel Inn, 677 Roosevelt, between 11:45 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 22. The wallet was found however $200 was reported missing from inside the wallet.
- An unknown person removed an orange Coach wallet from a purse at Jewel at 599 Roosevelt between 4 and 4:24 p.m. on Nov. 23. Inside the wallet was an Illinois Driver’s License, Illinois FOID card, $10 cash and miscellaneous credit cards.
- An unknown person forced their way into Camp Cosmetics at 480 Main between 3 and 3:53 p.m. on Nov. 23. Nothing was reported missing however the door was damaged.
