Addison Double Homicide: Teen and Man Fatally Shot in 'Targeted Attack': Police

ADDISON, IL — UPDATE: Addison Police are still investigating the fatal shooting of two men at the intersection of Denise Court and Elizabeth Drive. The deceased have been identified as a 20-year-old Alberto Rios, of Villa Park, and a 17-year-old male from Addison who police did not name because he is a juvenile.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Two men were fatally shot in their car as they drove through Addison Saturday. The shooting caused the men to crash into a tree near the intersection of Elizabeth Drive and Denise Court.

Authorities have yet to release the identities or ages of either man. Both men were taken to nearby hospitals, where they were pronounced dead.

Addison Police said they believe the fatal shooting was the result of a “targeted attack” and that the public is not in any immediate danger. Currently, police are investigating multiple leads in the fatal Addison shooting.
