Vehicle Burglaries, Thefts Still Plaguing Glen Ellyn: Police
Glen Ellyn Police reported eight vehicle burglaries in the week following Labor Day.

Since Labor Day, Glen Ellyn Police have reported eight vehicle burglaries and one motor vehicle theft. Many believe that the thefts are being committed by teens who live outside of the suburbs.
Most of the reported vehicle thefts over the last few months have taken place in the nighttime or early morning hours. The burglars have preferred to steal from cars that have left their doors unlocked. For that reason, several communities have urged residents to use extra caution.
