Vehicle Windows Smashed at Ackerman Sports Complex; Police Investigate Home Burglary: Blotter

Recent crime and arrest reports in Glen Ellyn:=
- Jimmy C. Nietes-Martinez, 40, of 50 Briar St. in Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 8:42 a.m. on March 14 in the 300 block of Park for speeding/driving while license suspended. Police also arrested Ana M. Lopez-Avelar, 35, of 50 Briar St., for permitting unauthorized person to drive.
- Hugo Flores, 31, of Gresham, Oreg., was arrested at 1:39 a.m. on March 15 at Roosevelt and Briar for driving while license suspnded and for using electronic device.
- John L. Galloway, 21, of 20 N. Parkside in Glen Ellyn, was arrested at Parkside and Roosevelt at 3:43 a.m. on March 20 for possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana.
- Wheaton police resonded to the 300 block of Geneva for a report of a home burglary on March 16. Unknown persons removed two Cisco television receivers on Feb. 28.
- Wheaton police responded to Crescent and Glenwood for a report of a rear license plate that was stolen from a vehicle between 3:55 and 9:30 p.m. on March 15.
- Police responded to the Ackerman Sports Complex, 800 S. Charles, between 5:45 and 6:30 p.m. on March 19 for criminal damage to motor vehicle report. Unknown persons shattered the window to two parked vehicles.
